The mid '90s; the underground scene in the Netherlands would be dancing in the dark on mystical rock music while turning their faces as an attempt to stay in their little world filled with melodies - the world of the 2 cousins that form the faces behind Anník. At the start of 2009 they started making music together. One year later they were ready to present their work; a mixture of life experiences, nostalgic feelings - so typical for those moments in our lifes that don't seem to be forgotten so easily. After recording demo cd 'Silver box' Tim, also a cousin, who had already been playing guitar on the cd, officially joined the band. Also Jorn playing the drums joined the group since summer 2010.
